Sorting and preparing your inventory

We are willing to visit your store or warehouse to help sort your stock and prepare for sale. We have found 2 services to be most valuable:

• Sorting into categories—We are extremely fast and can sort hundreds of books an hour into your sale categories.

• Identifying valuable books—We can identify those books that are worth more such that you can decide both how to price them and whether to market them on-line or in a Collectors Corner.

Filling in your stock

We can help increase the number of books you have for sale as well as the range of subjects.  For lower priced books we can supply as many as you wish at a favorable rate. For more valuable books, you may wish to work on a consignment basis where your up-front cost is nil and the proceeds are shared. In either case once you have weighed the market to know what is selling best we can help you stock more of that genre and price point.

Libraries managing sales that work on a donation basis only are invited to contact us to see if we have surplus stock we can donate or if we know of persons willing to donate.

Collectors Corner

The returns from selling higher priced books are increased by making an attractive display. We can help you consider issues of presentation, advertising, staffing during sales, and security. Security in particular is an issue as some buyers will attempt to change the price before coming to the point of sale. We can share simple strategies for reducing this loss.
